I'm looking for the pattern for cutting the hole in the transome for a 1989 OMC outdrive with a 5.7L and any water roughting diagrams for a closed system for this motor and outdrive.<br />Thanks
Go to your local Volvo Penta dealer and have them order you paper template #7797378.<br />It's for the SX/DP-S type transom shield which is the same you OMC Cobra outdrive transom shield.<br />Hard to say on the hose routing, there was the OEM heat exchanger, and several after market sources that had slightly different setups. I'll see if I can find a picure of a "Typical" one.
