5.0 / 5.7 Impeller Question

I have an '88 Cobra drive. I can read off of the tag that originally this was a 5.0 drive, but when I bought the boat it had been fitted with a 5.7 SBC. I assume the gears were changed to 1.50 (plan to check this comming spring). I am going to replace the water impeller in the drive, but wandering if these kits are different for a 5.0 drive compared to a 5.7 drive (I am assuming they are not). I have found one, part # 0984461, will this work for my 5.0 converted 5.7 Cobra drive? Thank you!

I've never worked on an OMC drive butam 99% sure that the impeller is going to be the same for both the 5.0 and 5.7, especially if the impeller is in the drive and not on the engine.<br /><br />Kits are around 40 bucks for Mercs.
