Anyone know where I can get a brass anti-syphon valve for my fuel line. All the ones I have been able to find are aluminum.

Re: Anti-syphon valve

I have a brass dip tube and copper fuel line and aluminum and brass together is a no no. It's a vintage Chris Craft and I am trying to keep it as original as possible. It had a small jet type orfice at the top of the dip tube to break syphon but it also pulls air into the fuel line that screws up the operation of the fuel flow meter.

Johnson and Evinrude outboard dealers sell a brass and stainless steel anti-siphon valve. You will never have problems with it like you do with the inexpensive aluminum ones.

Part number 173274 is for the most common size for 3/8" ID hose, with a 1/4 NPT pipe thread on the other end. It sells for about $11
