Just bought this boat, great shape although needs TLC and a few parts...what I need is a Manual and does anyone know the model number or type of outdrive this boat would have had?...can only get trim to tilt motor in and no movement from pump for tilt out?.....bad wire connection, pump shot...familiar with outboards not inboard outboards.....missing intake/carb on rebuilt motoe...long story, thats why I got this boat cheap..lol, any help would be appreciated...is this a good boat?

Merc called that engine a 165HP if it's got a 2 barrel carb 250 cu.in. if it's a 4 barrel it's a 200 HP 292 cu. in. Try to hold the tilt and trim button on and see if it don't go up

The outdrive is known as a Pre-Alpha,.. Or Mod.1,.. Or R drive,.. Or..................<br /> This manual May, or May not apply to Your's..............

Hey thanks, Bondo is this manual available for me to buy somewhere?.......Where would a good source fo buying the missing intake and carb and spark arrestor?...these are missing...the motor is stamped 165 so I guess I am looking for a two barrel carb for the 250 motor..<br />Ae these sea ray boats with this motor and outdrive concidered good?, seems like a very well made solid boat.<br />Thanks!

Why Buy It,.... Download it,+ It's Yours..... Print it if you Wish.....<br /><br />I don't think there's a link to a Merc. Manual for your motor,... Just the drive,....<br /><br />Ebay might be a place to find a manual,+ possibly the Parts you're looking for.......<br /><br />Sea-Ray is a Good Quality name brand......<br />A boat that Old,........ Rot might be a problem......<br /><br />Good Luck.....
