Do you have spark to all 4 spark plugs? With all the cranking and trying to start, you may just have it flooded big time.

I do have spark on all plugs, How would it get flooded without pushing the gas down? The plugs were wet with gas after cranking the engine so much. I am lost at this point, I here the shop calling me!

I know you said cap and rotor look good but how can you really tell? Don't waste time trying to test the condenser just do a real tune up with all new, it's not a waste of time or money, may not fix your problem but at least it gives you a starting to carry on from.

Well, if you have spark on all the plugs, then it's not a condenser or spark problem. You said the plugs were wet with gas. That means your probably flooded.
Hold the throttle Wide Open and crank the engine and see if it starts.

It fired up! I put the throttle wide open and it started right up, Is my carb bad? What would have caused this?

I don't have a clue how the 2.3 OMC fuel pump is setup, but if it has a clear hose going to the carb, it's designed to dump the fuel from a failed fuel pump directly to the carb instead of the bilge as an automotive pump would do.
That would explain the excess fuel.

When it started right up did it stay running?
Will it idle?

Don S: It has the small clear tube on the carb, maybe thats what happened. It started up and stayed running, idle was perfect. Ran great on the water today except for my shifting problem that is getting fixed.
