Does anyone know of an easy way to fix a small pinhole (leak) in the floor of an aluminum johnboat?

All I found was to use 5200. Will a rivet seal the hole or should a sealant be used also?

Once the area around the hole is clean and dry the 3M 5200 will work just fine.

Dave

Last year I repaire a few small holes near the transome of my old boat by doing the following:I cleaned the area good, used marine tex to fill in the holes, then covered everything withing witha good coat of GLUVIT. Then I repainted with a marine grade painy. So far there are no leaks and no further problems.
