good deal?

i am looking at a 1990 14ft smokerkraft. The boat looks brand new. It also has a 1990 shorlandr trailer in decent condition. It has an older (70's)18 hp evinrude that runs good. he is asking $1500. is this an okay deal?

If the engine, boat, and trailer are in good shape, not a bad deal. Offer less and offer cash.<br />$1200-$1300 would be decent, all depending on condition.

I agree with Roscoe. I would bet that the boat and trailer are worth about 800.00-1000.00 and the motor is priced about right($200),if running good. Offer low and haggle hard... NADA puts the boat at $820.00 and the trailer has to be worth at least a few hundred, so I don't think you will lose out on this one, as NADA is always low..
