63 MERC 500 WHAT IS IT'S VALUE

I have a 63 merc 500 on my 61 crestliner runs great/looks. I use to run it for a hour out to go fishing last year until I bought my new cresliner. I have the boat up for sale for 800$ all it needs is a mercontrol just broke. It has a new depthfinder/radio/wheels on the trailer new trailer guides and lights. I'm having a hard time finding a serious buyer in NJ where I live. Should I just sell the parts on ebay.

Sell the whole package on eBay, Loueg, or part it out and sell the parts.<br /><br />You will probably realize more bux by parting it out, but running multiple auctions could be a bit tougher.<br /><br />Good luck. <br /><br />Moving this to Boats.

I bought an excellent running '67 merc 500 (just the motor, control box and cables) for $300 from a local marina. Around here, you could sell your setup for at least a thousand.......just depends on your location.
