There are two small holes inside the back of the riser where the water dumps...<br />Check these for clogging from rust/scale....<br />ID is inside diameter, as in, check the rubber boots for crusty shiite & clean them as best you can of the crusties.....<br />Perfect seal is more or less aviation grade gasket seal :) <br />I think I spelled everything right..... :D <br />If you have a raw water cooled system, 160- 170 is higher than normal for that engine, not over-heating, but above normal....<br />I think you do a have a restiction issue of some sort.....<br />Pull the riser & have a look, the gasket might cost five bucks... ;) ..JK

Thanks again, Im going to pull the riser and rubber exhaust hose and have a look. I'm going to post the pics of the riser and let you guys tell me if its fit for service. :D

Can anyone tell me if these are the only things I need to unbolt. I know there are two more nuts on the back side. Is there anything I need to becareful of when removing. Any more advice would be great and thanks again for the help so far.

Nope, that's it as far as bolts go....<br /> Do ot use a screwdriver or other similar device to pry the riser from the manifold where the mating sufaces meet! <br />Invest in a rubber mallet ;) ......JK
