Finished up this little project last night. I got some steel from the local steel yard and welded up the stand and painted it, I had finished the tank the day before yesterday. Now it is in my home office. What self respecting boat person wouldn't want a small outboard in their house?

Jason,
What year is that wizard? I have a mid 60's wizard that is complete and just needs painting. Mine has the cover that goes under the tank also.

I am not sure, I didn't really research it. I do know that it is mechanically the same as the Mercury KG7, if that helps any. I am assuming it is mid to late 50s vintage, but I am willing to be wrong. The serial is 565622 if that helps. I do have the lower cowling, I just didn't mount it so that the "guts" would be visible.

Re: Project Wizard Static Display complete

We have an agreement in my house. As long as my home theater is placed properly, and my home office and garage I do as I see fit, she gets her way with the rest of the house. It works out well because I have no active desire to decorate, and she just fears the garage, so we are even.
