You said to doublecheck the transom...<br /><br />Pulled the starboard stringer this morning, realized where it was "attached" (we'll use that term loosely!) to the transom the transom was mulch.. <br /><br />Looks like the screws that Bilgeliner put in for the speedo pitot tube clamps were't sealed and let water in. <br /><br />At least it looks like an easy repair.<br /><br />It's now out but my sentiments can be summed up in one word and it rhymes with "duck"<br /><br />-Roger

Bondo..<br /><br />I'm a big proponent of "do it right". All the wood in the transom is now out. As a matter of fact, there's now virtually no wood left in the hull at all, barring the core backing for the transom tiedowns and swim platform.. All that goes back in will be new..<br /><br />Roger.
