i have removed all the upohlstered panels in my 18 1/2 foot bowrider ,,except for the one held on by the throtle handle/trim controll thing ,,,i took of the little plastic plate and found a semi dead bee in there [ he was still moving very slow ,i have no idea how he got behind there " maybee a spider carried him back there"] any way ,,,,I then removed the bolt holding the handel to the gear and the handel came off and is dangling by its wires ....now there is this big square piece with a gear in it like a window crank ...there was 1 hole witch i stuck a screw driver in and undid a screw that loosened a plate thing ,,but the big square housing is still stuck on there .....i dont want to get venom injected by the spider so im kinda wimpy about sticking my hand back there and feeling for bolts but i guess i will...........any advice on how to get this off..................................any advice on how to get rid of a spider infestation on a boat that had been sitting

I'd spray some insecticide back there and wait 5 minutes, then wear some light gloves (I'd use the thin latex ones) to feel around for any bolts.

I'd take it to a mechanic....

Pay close attention to that "the throtle handle/trim controll thing" as some contain some little parts/springs & stuff - you may need a shop manual to get it back together.
