I parked my 2000 Crownline with a fiberglass hull behind the trees this summer when we moved to West Texas. My son decided a few weeks later that he wanted to do some target shooting with the .22 so proceeded to set some bottles up over the burn barrel. Later I was walking by the boat and discovered 5 holes about the size of the tip of a little finger. At least one is all the way through. Any good ideas how to fix these holes so they look decent?

Whatever method you pick, I hope your son is heavily involved in the process, both financialy and hands on :)

Also get him involved in gun safety courses.

Sure glad it was only something that got holes in it and not someone.

If possible repair the holes from the inside then gel coat the outside, using a wax paper over the gel and back it up with a materail that will conform to the hull to save sanding. Its a good idea to practise on something else first to get the knack of it first--Bob

Jack has a good point.

But first you must address your feelings about this situation. I remember that my father would address his feelings in a situation like this by bringing my cranium in contact with said damaged product with sufficient acceleration and repetition to pasify and rectify his feelings.

:D
