Nice looking ride! It sure looks racy sitting in the water. They really raked the windshield on that model!

Nice photo too. Do the hills and sand really have those purple hues like in the pic?

How did you almost loose the boat?

boat looks GREAT on water, Realgun! Hopefully mine will go in next weekend. It's at the upholstery shop as we speak. I'm busy ordering screws, refinishing teak, shopping for a prop, and looking for a shop who can do my graphics.

Congratulations on gettin her afloat and running dude. You'll solve the little problems soon, I'm sure.

How did you almost loose the boat?
Well its all in the SHT area.

I seem to post a lot of SHT!

>>>Stupid Human Tricks<<<

Basically I looped the end of the mooring line the red 1 in the picture around the cleat and jumped to the dock. The line just decided to come with me so the boat was floating away from the dock as I watched! Its explained better in the SHT Forum :D

Looking sweet. That is an interesting thing you did with the side windows, I assume you did not like the long side glass sections?

Those windows would get in the way of fishin'!! Looks great RG, that's a lot of wide open space with the pedestal seating, I like it, looks like a versatile setup.

I just looked at your webspace again, man you really earned that boat! Nice work throughout RG! And if you haven't named her yet, something on the project sight caught my attention, how about MN 2 NM ?

Re: Update on Project long Haul

Thanks peoples it not all done yet.

JasonJ your right the glass gets in the way big time thats why I think the starboard rear was missing. Plus it would have cost 400+ shipping and the little rear plastic vent was NLA. I have an Idea to fix the glass give me a year or two. :)

Calico name is Real Paws due to cats getting into the boat when I was finishing the epoxy. Got almost all of it off except a few "paw prints."
However I will run this by the "kids."

I posted this on another thred also. I think some people wanted to see how the little pedastal mounting worked. I think it look awsome as you can hardly see the carpet come up a 1/2" from the floor under the base. a 45 degree angle in the plywood worked and so did the peanut butter and t-nuts to hold it all together.

WOW !!! that is looking great. Like the seating arrangement and all the floor space. You must be proud of the way its turned out after all your hard work. Are there seats in the stern as well ? So when is the maiden voyage ?

Re: Update on Project long Haul

The holes in the back are seats also but I will never subject anyone to them as that Force is 1 loud motor! The seat cushions are in the back of the truck 1 fell out at 70 mph! Good thing the only damage was the edges you cannot see. Wheeew (wipes brow).

Now the color scheme is whacked I know. I was going blue/teal/grey but the seats were $59 instead of $74 each and I liked the color! I will probably get rid of the teal stripe and make it red.

Was going to go with two lounge seats but personally I hated to be looking back all the time. Thats unless we were trolling. :) Now we call all turn to the middle or back or...wow I need a small table mount!

RodC thats in the SHT (stupid Human Tricks) forum. :D

There are (2) 1 with and 1 without family!
