Is there a filler that I can use for minor transom rot? I have removed bad area and I have heard of some kind of epoxy filler.

Not sure "minor" and "transom rot" can be used together. "GitRot" is a good product, but it's an epoxy infiltration (soaks into wood/rot), not a filler. I once filled a transom area with polyester putty, but that was long ago and many smarts away. Go to a good marine center and see what they recommend
Hmmm. Just MNHO, but I see "minor" transom rot the same way I see "minor" cancer.

Rot is a fungus infection. Unless ALL of the "rotted" wood and ALL of the fungus are removed and the cause (water invasion) repaired it is only a matter of time until catastrophic failure.

How much do you like your boat?
Last time I had to deal with "minor transom rot" I ended up have to replace the transom. It didn't look bad until, well, the farther I dug the farther it went. It was minor when I started though.
Thanks for all the info. just tring to get my boat going for a friend to get to his house in south la. not going to let him have it if we cannot repair it
