Hi guys,

i don't know if the rules of this board allow to post a link to this kind of site, but i found this for you:
Lanier marine

they were giving, yes free, a lot of old boats to clear spaces. Could be useful for a restaration project.
Bye.
Steve

Wow...I'm glad I don't live very close to that place. I'm a "project type"...I'd have a hard time choosing just one :)

It's a walk down memory lane also...walking around a boneyard like that one...I find myself imagining the sound of all the laughs and good times people once had in those old hulls...

Chuck

Fantasic source.
Too bad I am not in GA.

I love Texas - but as a source for old fiberglass boats it sucks!

Thanks

Re: Lots of FREE boats

Hey guys, don't read too much into this. I live in Ga. and have been there and have bought used parts from them on occasion. (yea I know, my profile says watts bar, thats where my boat is, unfortunatly not me) anyway, those boats are totally stripped, no engine, no steering, no seats, no nothin.. rotted stringers etc.. you get the picture. you could buy a used boat for a lot less than what you would pay to restore it UNLESS, it is the boat of your dreams...and you just have to have it... :D :D
