It really depends how well you want to see through it and how easy you want it to roll up and store.I had optically clear 40 gauge on my boat and it is like looking through clear glass but you really cant roll it up very well.20 gauge is probably the most widely used mostly for the lower cost.30-40 guage gets pretty pricey.Charlie
I didn't catch your other posts but I'm not a big fan of vinyl in any gage. It looks great when new but gets cloudy quickly with the UV rays from the sun. Before long is gets brittle and needs to be replaced.
