Fibreglass manual - Which one?

Hello, I'm new to this site, but hope that you can help me.<br /><br />I'm looking for a good and easy to use manual, that describes the process of working with fibreglass and resin. Both in restoring and in making new molds, pieces etc.<br /><br />Where can I buy such a manual?<br /><br />Thanks, Rasmus Buhl Christiansen, Denmark.

A good library has "how to do" books on fiberglassing and resins.

Before you buy any books, download the free books from the major epoxy manufacturers. They cover a lot of the topics that you are interested. <br /><br />West System and System Three both have free info.

I bought a book from the internet " The Fiberglass Boat Repair Manual" by Allan H. Vaitses, the book is pretty good, in that it covers differant types of repairs and it also talks a little about the differant types of resins & glues,and some little stories of how the job got done, try to find the book used, as the price will be better, the free stuff from the manufactures is a good starting point.

Ditto about Allan H. Vaitses. He is one of the few that has seriously glassed boats for a living...and done it for decades. He also keeps track of various boats he worked on to see what the long term affect is with certain methods, materials and procedures. Few on the planet come close to his practical experience with glass.
