hey im new here just picked up a winner boat with a johnson 70hp and trailer for free motor runs trailer needs tires<br />right now i got half the floor ripped out and stoped when i realized i would have no place to stand while i put a new floor in <br />been reading up on how to replace the floor so ive got a good idea of what im doing just want to be clear on one thing after i put new stringers in i glass them to the hull then lay the floor piece on with the bottom already glassed and the glass the top in<br />also is it okay to do this project with the boat sittin on the trailer?

Ayuh,........ You've got it going in a Great Direction,.........And,... Welcome to the forums here at iboats.......<br /><br />Probably Most rebuilds are done On a Trailer.....<br />You'll want to make Sure that the bare hull is properly supported,+ held as "True" as possible.......<br /><br />Mason's String Line is Your Friend,...... Boats aren't Square,.... They're Measured off the Keel Line,.... That's where you want the String Line.......<br />Measure from It,+ If you're Happy the hull is as True as you like,.......<br /><br />Start Pouring the Glass,+ Laying Stringers........ ;)

Bondo I messed up I never used a string.<br /><br />But it tracks straight. I musta did something right.
