Cigarette adapter connecton to a battery

Is there anything out there that will allow you to mount a cigarette type adapter to a standard non-starting type battery? --Just in case I want to use something like a plug-in type spotlight so I can find shore or look for stumps at night. Or even for a cell phone (not for use on the lake, but just in an emergency when say.......my engine doesn't start and I'm a few miles out) <br /><br />Thanks.

sure is.. any chain auto parts store has an alligator clip-on addaptor ... clips on one end of wire.. cig plug on the other..

Just make sure you fuse it... you should never hook anything to your battery that isn't fused for safety sake.

I would get a marine one, they are better quality and will not rust. They cost about twice as much but it not that much.
