I am buying a fresh water boat and the boat will be on my mooring in salt water. My surveyor said to make sure to bond the thru-hulls on the boat. Any suggestions on how to do this?
dilbert, they refer to connecting all the underwater metal elements together electrically, to help limit corrosion. this is usually done in the bilges with 8 or 10 guage stranded copper wire connected to each peice,just make sure you get them all. The american boat and yacht counsel has specific regs on doin this....and I dont have em handy...
