73 50 hp johnson starting switch wires

key broke off inside switch, I bought a new switch the boat shop said it was the right one. Markings on back or the key swiches are different, i have the orignal wires please help thanks

More info would be helpful. Do both switches have the same number of contacts ? What control do you have ? Type of motor ?
