I have seen a "Biocide/ anti-fungal" intended for use in gasoline, at a local marine store. I have heard of it for diesel, but never for gas. Is it "Snake oil", or does it have some utility  ?

Yep.. Snake oil.. If you have the crud living in the gas, you got BIG problems...

Crud living in diesel, comes with the territory...

Thanks, that was my thought as well. It doesn't seem like anything can "live" in gasoline.

Just saw in a JEG’s magazine a additive the will make your exhaust smell like strawberries or rootbeer or 10 other things. $12.00 a bottle will treat 35 gallons. :p
