Thanks for the help upinsmoke. I will try all that tonight when I work on my motor. Ill get back to you and let you know what the outcome was. Thanks again.<br /><br />As for JB, whats with the attitude. Dont be so sure to diagnose my problem as engine electronics, it could be a mess of other things. Thanks for the input though Ill keep you words in mind.

JB,<br />Agreed with your suggestion. I noticed a lot of answers/opinion given didn't even get acknowledged. I think it only make sense if people get some response/appreciation of their effort (time to type and sharing what they know) to help fellow boatist in need of help.

Thanks to all the ideas on fishfinders and gps's.<br />I am going with seperate units.<br />The Eagle 280 df is good for the salwater, and the garpmin gps 72 will be great for more than fishing. (is there more than fishing?) :).

Thank you whomever helped me with the wiring. But not for the crimp, solder, and wire wrap arguements. :) <br /><br />If I could rember your screen names I would post them here.
