When running all my main electrical wiring from the battery to my distribution fuse blocks should I run them through plastic conduit?

I was thinking about this same question the other day. If you were to run a smooth conduit, wouldn't that be a great way to be able to later easily fish wires from the cockpit to the back for new accessories? Has anyone done this before?

Manufacturers do this quite often with PVC pipe. Loose wires should be loomed or protected also.

Hey R Poor, Thanks for that site. How would I attach it to the boat, using that, or even plastic conduit from homw depot? Thanks, Mark

This is what I use. The ones with the round top have a hole in them for a screw. The others are for bundeling.

I have also used these. Just mount these in the boat with a screw then run a wire tie around the loom then through these mounts to hold it all in place.
