Does year make a difference?

I asked a question about compression for 94 88hp evinrude. The reply was over 100psi, but more importantly there is not more than 5-10% difference between cylinders. Does same apply for a 95? Had FICHT taken over yet?

minnoak,<br /><br />Same applies. I do not believe Ficht was in production in '95'.<br /><br />By the way, if it's an '88' hp., it's NOT a Ficht.
