Does anyone know how much a 1956 Evinrude 9.9hp outboard engine is worth? It's in great shape and runs well. Is there such a thing as a "Kelly Blue Book" for boat motors?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

In order to be worth anywhere near $250, it MUST have the original dual line fuel tank, and the motor must be in good running condition and very good to excellent cosmetically... Most kickers of that era seem to run in the $75-$150 range around here...

Depends where you are, really. Up here in Minnesota, anything that runs and is 10 HP goes for $300 and up...assuming that it's complete with tank and runs well for the old motors.

It's really frustrating to look for a small outboard here...prices are so darned high, especially in the spring.
