E-bay has complete lowers for a steal. usually cheaper than rebuilding. just search "Johnson Lower".

Re: Lower Unit parts

It would most likely help if I knew the right name of what I was looking for it is the first thing that goes in your lower unit and the shifting rod attaches to it with the impeller shift and dog on it I found one for a mer 200 here guess its easier to machine it myself than pay that kind of money unless someone has parts laying around from another Lower unitt any takers here :p

Re: Lower Unit parts

If it’s the part which shifts from forward to revewrse than on most Evenrude and Johnson outboards it’s called a clutch dog.

Re: Lower Unit parts

No complete lower units but many parts in stock for these engines. We closed the dealership and I'm selling new parts below dealer cost.
I have parts catalogs for the Evinrude/Johnson engines. Gives exploded view of each part, correct part name and part numbers. $6.00
Email: linda@nu-z.net
