150 johnson silverstar

I currently own twin 150 johnson silverstars, previously owned a 150 johnson fasttrack, does anyone know what the difference is between the two? thank you

FastTrack is a trim system.<br /><br />FastStrike is the name given to the Hi-Performance version of the OMC-built Johnson 150 & 175 (They used the name Intruder on the Evinrudes). It "pushes" the 10% horsepower limit imposed by NMMA, so in theory, the FastStrike/Intruder is supposed to have 10% more hp than the standard versions. The extra hp is achieved thru porting differences and larger carb bodies with larger jets.<br /><br />-John
