where to find parts.Evinrude1968 65hp

hallo.I´m loocking for two parts of the electronic-system for my evinrude1968 65hp v4-cyl.<br />and the parts are "23,77"(VENT HOUSING) in the skiss i added in this post.is there a plase i can order them and what whil it cost me???.I foud them here in sweden but it cost about 400us and it´s to much for my right now(just 2 simple parts)<br />click link to se the parts i need.<br /> http://207.164.141.121:82/images/evinrude_68_skiss.jpg <br />Please help...i love my engine =/

Sebbbe.... That's not a "Vent Housing". What you are looking for (in your book)is #23 = Distributor Cap, and #22 = Rotor. The approximate list price of the Distributor Cap is $175.00 and the Rotor would be about $33.85 (US Dollars). <br /><br />Unfortunately I do not have either one left in my remaining stock. Is it a case that you do not have either item, or do you have them and they are faulty?

Sebbe...<br /><br />I live in Denmark and one thing is for shure.. after bombardier took over the spare parts have become extremely expensive here in Scandinavia at least ... and often the general agent have nothing in stock. Some of the best (and oldest) dealers in Denmark closed at the time OMC went under - so there are also wery few (if any) competent dealers left.<br /><br />I found it much cheaper and easyer to buy spare parts from USA you can order on line on several dealers in USA it takes 5-10 days for the parts to arrive.

ok wrong of me..its the Distributor Cap.yes "Joe Reeves" i have the old parts but them are in bad condition.the metalic part are burnd out from the sparks and its a big brick in the plastic on the big part.as it is now the sparks wont reach the spark-stifts???(cylinders)...i dont know if its becouse of the parts but i thikn so..by the way i need the parts anyway....i konw its cheeper in the states but how,where to find a good dealer.
