I bought a used boat last year with a 115 Evinrude. I have 3 reoccurring problems that I would like know what people think. <br /> <br />1) When I try to restart the engine (after it has warmed up) it does not start easily. I don't know if I should choke it or put the throttle in neutral and give it some gas or prime it. It hardly ever starts on the first turn of the key when I restart it. I have no problem starting it when it is cold. <br /><br />2) sometimes when I restart it after it has been running awhile I get a loud solid tone or beep. The manual says it could be overheated or have some fuel restriction but it often stops and the motor runs fine.<br /><br />3) When I finally get it restarted and put it in gear it stalls everytime. when it is running it runs good. Someone suggested setting the idle higher becasuse the "prop wash" is stalling the engine.<br /><br />any thoughts? Your help would be appreciated.
