Uhhhh, well, thats what I call it anyway. Its the throttle control attached to the motor. <br /><br />There are a series of gears at the base of the motor where it meets the handle. <br /><br />There is a gear with a cylinder attached and a pin that sticks through the side of the cylider. Where that pin rubs is visibly wornout so that the throttle turns a good bit before it begins to push on that pin. therefor the handle runs out of throw before the carb gets to full throttle. You can turn the handle all the way and the butterfly still has another 10 degrees or so before WOT. <br /><br />Does that make more sense? <br /><br />I have always called that handle the tiller control.
