Johnson 88 Special...#J88MSLEIM,need year

also have 10 horse Johnson...#J10RLCOM. I need to know model year for both motors.Also plugs,Champ sizes,reg. or marine,and gap.Any reccomendations for manuals...chilton,clymer,omc shop,that might cover both motors.Thanks

10 HP is a 1985 Model. Not sure on the 88. You will need 2 Manuals. One for each, as the HP difference is so great, they don't make a Manual to cover 10-90HP.

Both Motors,Champion QL77JC4 Gapped at .030!

thanks for all the help guys.I definitely need to change-out the plugs ASAP.Motors presently have Autolite plugs that are gapped way too wide. I definitely need to order those manuals.
