You need ohm meter and peak reading volt meter.

look for connector between stator and powerpack will have 4/6 wires 4 wires will be brown, the connector marked A B C D E F. Check the AB and CD termial on the stator side, your readings should be 480 or 985 +-25 do this and post readings. Check magnets in flywheel, you should be able to do this without removing flywheel. Locate black/yellow wire on powerpack disconnect, check spark, if spark returns, defective harness or switch. keep bumping to top I may be out for a day or two.

Hi clanton I checked AB and reading was 1.041 and BC was .000 I could not find black/yellow wire so I disconnected the wire harnest at the big red plug and still no fire thanks.

My post was wrong, should be termial AB and CD. I edited the post. The AB side is out of spec, the CD side looks ok. One side fires 3 cylinders and the other side fires 3 cylinders. you realy need a peak reading meter or adapter, see www.esitest.com. I think the stator is gone, and you may have other problems. plug it all back together.Set your meter 3/400 volt AC scale, check pack output to coil with all wires connected, cranking rpms. Then do same on DC scale post readings.
