hello all.<br />i won't bug too much. i see it's a very busy board.<br /><br />I did take a search on the forum and all I could find is that my question is very common...<br /><br />Can someone help me to find the year of my motor so that I can purchase a repair manual (what's a good one?)<br /><br />Johnson Seahorse Electric. I think it's a 33,35 or 40.<br />Model: RDS26S<br /><br />i promise to be fun and helpful...<br />Can you post pics with your posts here?

My engine model year source is OMC outboard model year guide.

brettshouse,<br />Welcome to the forum.<br />You will find many members are or were full time marine mechanics and thus have access to alot of info. They are very willing to pass along what they can.<br />As far as a source for Model years try this link. Welcome brettshouse, to the best boating and motor forum in cyberspace. I can't praise these folks enough for all the help they have given me. Although this is the only board you will likely need, I get my Johnson motor year info from this site<br /> http://www.marineengine.com/manuals/johnson/ <br />Just match up the model number to the listings.<br /> Try to give the businesses on iboats a chance to supply your manual or product needs. They make all this possible.<br /> As far as posting pics, it can apparently be done. You might have to ask Franki how to do it.
