Can someone tell me how to identify which coil goes to the top (or bottom) cylinder when replacing my plug wires? I cannot find this in any of my several manuals.
Also, is there any order for wiring my 2 black wires from the wiring harness to eventually feed each coil. One goes directly to a coil and the other goes to the cutoff switch then to a coil. Does the order matter?
Thanks

Steve..... The coil, as it sits upon the armature plate (the plate the coils, points, etc are attached to), the coil closest to the carburetor (front) is the top cylinder coil.
