where to get parts for a '63 15hp johnnyrude?

Local rude dealer would rather eat sawdust than talk to me about old outboard parts. He also does not have a cross-reference from my '63 sea king (mfr by OMC/gale products) to evinrude anyway. Need various gasket sets immediately (power head and fuel filter)... thanks mucho.

You might want to check with Joe Reeves. he a very experienced OMC tech who has posted on this sight. Joe helped me with my 66 Rude 9.5.<br /><br />Additional: Traci and Shawn at FeatherWeightOutboards (featherweightoutboards.com) have proven to be a good source for some of the ol' parts.<br /><br />Good Luck and HAVE FUN!

Most parts you need are the same as any 18, 20 or 25 hp Johnson or Evinrude built between 1957 to 1976. Just don't tell the dealer you need parts for a 63 15 hp, he will only get confused.

Duck.... Could you list the part numbers of what you need? Many of us would be glad to check to see if we might have them still in stock.
