I am having a problem with excessive gas in the(what I will call the carb manifold). When I slightly trim the motor lots of gas pours out the carb manifold (1/2 cup). When trimmed all the way down, it does fine. Any suggestions?????

Sounds to me like it is time for a carb rebuild, the excessive gas is coming from the needle valves not seating or the floats out of adjustment. By carb manifold are you referring to the air silencer in front of the carbs?

janthonyb7,<br /> I think what your referring to is the air box in front of the carburators?A small amount of gas dripping out is not uncommon. From what you describe you may want to check your needle/seats in the carbs for wear OR saturated floats(heavy).Put motor in down position, remove the air box cover, while observing the carb throats, prime the fuel bulb until firm.If you see gas dribbling out the front replace the needle valves at least.Floats would be next.A carb rebuild kit for each would be best....
