Hello all, <br /><br />First of all, I would like to acknowledge this Great site and all the useful info you guy's provide...way cool! Second, Was wondering if maybe ya'll could help a newbie out? I'm looking at purchasing 91' Johnson 88 SPL and was wondering if I could use the TNT and/or the benical box from my blown 75 RUDE (late 80's model) that is already on the boat or will i need to buy new controls and TNT? <br /><br />Thanks in advance, for any/all replies, trying to learn

No problem. The harnesses were the same from 1973 to about 1995. Your harness will have a red cannon plug and so will the V4. The throttle and shift cables will interchange too.<br /><br />Good luck with a good choice!

Thanks Dhadley, I figured I might could use the controls. <br /><br />Do you know if the Tilt and Trim from the Evinrude work on the Johnson? the 88 SPL comes without. Is it a difficult job?<br /><br />Thanks again,
