'73 25hp Evinrude Stutters

When you are running about half throttle it stutters, idles fine, WOT is fine. Has a complete new electrical system including coils. Also has a complete new fuel system including carb and fuel pump. Engine has even 150lbs in each cylinder. Anyone have any Ideas?

Sounds like midrange might be a bit rich.<br /><br /> You say it stutters, like 4 stroking? <br /><br /> Not sure what it has for jets but you might have a midrange or off idle circuit in that carb that you could "tune".<br /><br /> Maybe lowering the float level "a bit" might gain you what you want.
