Evinrude Year?

I have a Motor with no markings but, does have a model# 85693G. Can anyone give me the sight I could go to to find out a little more about this motor. Or if you have a little free time tell me what it is and if it is a electric shift or manual? Sure would appreciate it. Thanks

I think it is a 1976 85hp. The easiest way to tell if it is electric shift is to see if it has 1 or 2 cables going to the motor. If it has one cable with the electrical, it is electric shift. If 2 plus electrical, the it is manual shift.
