My Evinrude 55 is Model 55873R. Don't know what year it is, but could go back to late 60's. Bought the boat 2 years ago.<br /><br />Started having a problem that the motor stalls out after about 30 minutes. I wait a few minutes and restart. Then it stalls after a minute or 2. Then it is wait, start, run, stall in repeating cycles all the way back to the dock. The run times get progressively shorter.<br /><br />We have checked the fuel, the filter, the lines, the compression, etc. and all seem okay. I would appreciated any help with this. Thanks!
