Runs but looses power.

I have an Evinrude 15 hp, model # E15REMN. Starts right up and runs good. Til I go about 1/4 mile at half throttle, then it starts slowing down and the rpms slow to a stall. Now if I pump the bulb it'll be fine. After it stalls, it'll start right up, go again and same problem. I'm thinking the fuel pump dia. Cause I checked the filter (which is just a screen) I hope, cause the carb looks like it'll be a problem to remove. What do ya think guys? Anyone ever have the same problem?

Most likely the diaphram, or an air leak in the hose.

A good portion of all the posts here have the same problem. You probably ought to put a carb kit in. Really they are not that difficult to work on. See:<br /><br /> http://www.outboardrepairs.com/carburetors/
