cleaning out a permanent tank

I have a bass tracker that probably has "stale" gas in it. I was wanting to get all the trash out of it but I'm not sure the best way to get it out. I'm used to portable tanks in john boats that can just be dumped out. Is there any additive I should put in it to raise the grit before I siphon it out... Anybody have any advice on how to clean it best???

Thanks

Brent

If it has a fuel sending unit, take it out and the hole should be big enough to maybe put a vaccuum hose in there (once it has dried out of course) and vaccuum it out and run an extra fuel filter for a while. Just check the filter more often for a little more insurance. Your best bet is to remove the tank. It had to go in somehow. I would think it would take some doing but surely it will come out. (siphon first or it will be heavy of course). Good luck
