"Odd" Rod Holders

I recently purchased a 1996 Seaswirl Striper 2100 CC and it has these odd looking rod holders under the gunnels. They are rubber and are pretty beat up and started falling apart.<br /><br />I have looked around but cannot find them locally (Melbourne, FL). Has anyone seen these type? Looks to me like steering cable/splashwell boots... <br /><br />Have you tried Marine Connection Liquidators? They're on the east side of US1 about a mile or two south of Indrio road in the north end of Ft. Pierce..

I checked out a new model last year, and the holders looked about the same.You may be able to get them thru a dealer.Probably gona cost though.<br />nice boat!<br /> Jim

Try Don's Salvage in St Pete / Clearwater -- he has tons of leftover OEM parts.

Can’t tell from the pic how those things are made. You might be able to buy 1 sq ft of 3/16 sheet rubber or neoprene and cut out some replacement rubber parts for the ones you have.<br /><br />I checked out the items in Joe’s link. I think they are smaller than the ones you have. Also, looks like yours have 6 screws? The ones iboat sells have 4 screws. There’s a better picture on the manf website. Thanks for the suggestions...<br /><br />I will contact Seaswirl and see if I can get them from them or a vendor. I'm sure they will be very cheap! <br /><br />Argh!
