I just bought a 91 model evinrude 9.9. Starts fine, runs good, but won't idle without the choke partly closed. I've tried adjusting the air/fuel, but no help, any suggestions? Thanks guys..
If it'll only idle with the with the choke, it's probably the low speed orfice (jet). It might be partially plugged up so ya may want to do a carb clean and rebuild. Before you got it, it could have set around for a while with fuel in the carb and got gummed up.<br />Lettus us know what happens.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty
