Winterizing

How long can a "winterized" outboard sit without being used? It is going on 2 years now, is that ok?

if it was stored properly it can sit for a long time when it is ready to use a few minor repairs will be needed changing the impeller clean the carb lower unit oil change change the plugs run a richer mix and fire it up should be good to go
