BGREEN,

You are losing something. Either spark or fuel.

What shape are your fuel lines in? Does the primer bulb (fuel) lose prime?

The fuel lines look ok, but it leaks gas a little at bottom of carb, could this cause a loss of prime. also wouldn't the motor sputter if it was losing fuel suction. it just dies, no sputter, fels like i pulled the throttle back to neutral.

OK i replaced fuel line and bulb and also found the screen on the end of the fuel lne in the tank was all clogged up. Went out to the lake and it ran fine for about 15 minutes, then it died again. The motor had fuel when it died. I was thinking maybe it is getting hot and this would cause it to shut off somehow. any ideas?

Still think you have a fuel problem. Probably clogged again. Clean out the tank and filter again.

After it dies, do you have spark?
