Hi Ferry,
Looking at the front of the motor, on the left side there should be a raised boss with three holes in a line. The two outer holes are smaller and tapped for threads. The center hole should have a screw in it to plug it up. That center hole runs into the crankcase and serves as a pressure point. You can buy a small Johnson/Evinrude fuel pump for your motor right at an OMC dealer. It should bolt right on. Remove all of the internal tank stuff and run the hoses for the fuel pump in their place.
In the front panel of the motor, along the bottom edge, there will be a recessed flat. There may, or may not, be a hole on the underside of that flat area, but that is where the single line OMC fuel plug mounts. You may have to drill out the holes for it (one for the hose, one for the mounting bolt).
- Scott

hi,

i looked up that point and found it.
The centerhole is used. There's a hose on it and that hose goes to the carb.
I really dont know where that is for.

i forgot to mention its a 1981 4.5hp seahorse

Pull that hose out and the fitting that goes with it. You may need to plug off one inlet on the carb - I can't remember off the top of my head if there's one or two on those plastic bowl carbs. Some had a valve that allowed the use of either the integral or the external tank. Use the inlet that the tank fuel line goes to to run the "out" side of the new fuel pump. The "in" side of the fuel pump gets the line to the fuel fitting/tank.
- Scott
