Evinrude 9.9 year

I am trying to determine the year of my 9.9 evinrude. I see I need a Model and serial #.<br /><br />I found these on the transom mounting bracket hopefully they are correct. D 318956 320426

These numbers you posted...are they from the small silver tag?<br /><br />TMD

No they are stamped into the carrying handle. There looks to be a spot where a tag may have been but nothing there now.

Remove the motor cowling (cover) and look on the side of the powerhead for a small quarter sized aluminum disc (looks like a small freeze plug). The model number and serial number should be stamped on that disc.

Thanks<br />I found the disc and the number is C0088103. As well the letter M with a border around it is stamped on the disc.

Hmm...that number does not help me any.<br /><br />TMD
